In May 2010, a team of people completed the 3 peaks challenge for the Kabanda Trust. The team was from Beswicks Solicitors, and Terrys Fabrics.
We were very lucky on the weekend, as we had good weather. The rain was lashing down on the way up there, but fortunately when we started walking the rain seemed to disappear!!
The challenge was to complete the 3 peaks within 24 hours, and we would easily have done this but we did have a couple of injures on the 2nd peak which put us back about 2 hours while we had to wait for them to hobble down!!
We actually completed the challenge in 25 hours, but we are claiming success as with the injuries we would have done it, as we did not want to split up the team.
It was a great sense of achievement to complete the walk, and all the members of the team that completed the walk without injury deserver a vote of thanks from the Kabanda trust.
